In early 2022, the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) introduced new regulations that established a baseline of training requirements for entry-level drivers. These apply to those seeking to obtain a Class A or Class B CDL for the first time, upgrade an existing Class B CDL to a Class A CDL, or obtain a school bus endorsement, passenger endorsement, or hazardous materials endorsement for the first time.

An entry-level driver must, prior to taking the skills test, successfully complete a prescribed program of theory and behind-the-wheel instruction provided by a school or other entity listed on FMCSA's Training Provider Registry (TPR).

J. J. Keller’s Entry-Level Driver Training School Bus Endorsement Training Curriculum is designed to help CDL drivers meet the theory instruction training requirements set by the FMCSA for entry-level drivers seeking an “S” (school bus) endorsement on a new or existing CDL.
