Racial minorities will make up a majority of the country’s population sometime between 2041 and 2046, according to U.S. Census Bureau data. Add age, sexual orientation, ethnicity, gender identity, disability, socio-economic class, and other differences, and it’s clear that workplace diversity is no longer an aspiration, but a reality.

Unfortunately, discrimination is also a reality in today’s workplace. The good news is effective training can help prevent illegal discrimination by improving the perception employees have of their diverse workplaces. It’s also important for companies to promote a fair, equitable workplace and an inclusive environment. This improves overall workplace culture by giving employees a sense of belonging.

​J. J. Keller's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Training is designed to help employees work confidently in an increasingly diverse workforce. Specifically, this training will provide an overview of diversity, equity, and inclusion, as well as employee rights. It will also offer ways employees can handle workplace challenges and promote a fair, inclusive work environment. The additional training module for management (see Module 5 below) will teach managers how to promote a more equitable and inclusive workplace for everyone.


The Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Training curriculum includes the following courses:

Defining Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

Module 1: Defining Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

Designed to teach employees and managers the meaning of workplace diversity, equity, and inclusion. It will also explain the company and employee benefits of continual efforts towards achieving all three.

Module 2: Understanding Employee Rights

Designed to help employees and managers understand their employee rights. It will also help them become more aware of discrimination and harassment to help build a culture of inclusion at work.

Module 3: Addressing Workplace Challenges

Designed to help employees and managers understand the challenges of a diverse workplace and factors that contribute to a hostile work environment. It will also teach them what to do if they experience or witness disrespectful behavior or discrimination.

Module 4: Preventing Discrimination by Promoting Inclusion

Designed to help employees and managers understand how they can promote an inclusive work environment. It will also share ways they can get involved in team efforts to build morale, increase inclusion, and deter discrimination through better communication.

Module 5: Managing an Inclusive Environment

Designed to help managers promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in your workplace. It will help them communicate effectively with and grow a diverse team. This will in turn help to prevent discrimination.
